This is based on a sign I saw today at a greenhouse... it said "Iris Eyes Are Smiling." To me, it seemed like such an unusual phrase, I thought it would make for an interesting art project. This is what I've managed to come up with so far, but it is probably not the last version, this is more or less a placeholder for my final version. Chances are, I'll end up varying them a bit more and using a different background. An older one is here: [link]

EDIT: The same greenhouse thing now has a sign saying "We've always been green." Another odd phrase I should incorporate into this one.
